Two wrongs are trying to make it right

Failing market leader Nokia, and Failing-at-everything-except-windows Microsoft have joined forces in an attempt to claim a share of the smartphone industry. In all honesty i cant see this making it anywhere, Microsoft are trying to jump into industries and technologies after everone else has been so successful, they created Zune, an iP0d rival that fell at the first. Bing, a search engine, really? I dont have any doubts that the guys at Google had a little bit of a chuckle when they heard about Bing.

Nokia however still maintain a large protion of the industry, (and have a great track record for manufacturing good quality hardware) and if developing their own smartphone softwae was not feasble then i guess Microsfot for them isnt a bad move, however they both face an uphill battle.
